Drostanolone Propionate  was invented by Syntex in 1959. About 10 years later it was released on the American market by Lilly as brand name  . The drug was first approved in the USA for use as a treatment of female breast cancer. However, the profile of side-effects included pronouncement of male characteristics in women and when more effective breast cancer treatments came to market drostanolone was gradually phased out. No longer used clinically became very popular in the bodybuilding community. Today  remains on the list of approved medications, but it is not being manufactured or sold by pharmaceutical companies. It is still produced illegally by underground labs for use in the bodybuilding community.

Testosterone enanthate is used primarily in androgen replacement therapy. It is the most widely used form of testosterone in androgen replacement therapy. The medication is specifically approved, in the United States, for the treatment of hypogonadism in men, delayed puberty in boys, and breast cancer in women.

Nandrolone decanoate among others, is an androgen and anabolic steroid (AAS) medication which is used primarily in the treatment of anemias and wasting syndromes, as well as osteoporosis in menopausal women.[8][9][10][11][3] It is given by injection into muscle or fat once every one to four weeks.[3][12]
Side effects of nandrolone decanoate may include symptoms of masculinization like acne, increased hair growth, and voice changes.[3] The medication is a synthetic androgen and anabolic steroid and hence is an agonist of the androgen receptor (AR), the biological target of androgens like testosterone and dihydrotestosterone (DHT).[3][13] It has strong anabolic effects and weak androgenic effects, which give it a mild side effect profile and make it especially suitable for use in women and children.[3][13][14] Nandrolone decanoate is a nandrolone ester and a long-lasting prodrug of nandrolone in the body.
